About This Piece

The wood used in this sculpture came from a tree branch that had fallen while I was at work and needed to be removed from the area. There were several pieces I could have used, but I was drawn to the delicate sweep of this particular section of the branch.

The base stone was rounded by the river and has a beautiful pattern to it. The copper wire was salvaged from a construction site before it was thrown away. I stripped it and straightened it before using it in this piece.

I appreciate your interest in this piece. Tina, Bob, Linda, and Louise are the first pieces I have ever been able to place in a gallery, so they are quite special to me.
